About TeachVane

We build calm, reliable systems for educators who want momentum without compromising on quality, accessibility, or outcomes.

Our story

TeachVane started as a set of internal checklists used to help educators ship cohesive course portals fast: syllabi that read clearly, lessons that flow logically, and onboarding that feels human. Those checklists became templates, templates became tools, and tools became a system that reduces friction without turning teaching into a factory.

We keep the bar high: crisp UX, accessible defaults, and operational clarity—so schools can focus on learning outcomes, not duct-tape logistics.

Mission

Enable educators to launch impactful, accessible, and sustainable online schools—by providing frameworks that turn complexity into a sequence of doable steps.

Impact
Design for outcomes and comprehension, not vanity metrics.
Accessibility
Include more learners by default—contrast, structure, and clarity.
Sustainability
Build operations that your future self can maintain.

Values & team principles

  • Clarity beats cleverness: if a learner hesitates, we redesign.
  • Accessibility is not optional: it’s part of product quality.
  • Student outcomes drive decisions: shipping is a means, not the goal.
  • Measure, iterate, improve: we prefer evidence over opinions.
  • Calm operations: fewer handoffs, fewer surprises, more trust.
  • Build with constraints: good tools work under real-world time and budget.

A small pledge

If we ever recommend a workflow that adds steps without adding clarity, tell us. We’d rather remove features than add complexity.

Principles, expanded
A quick, practical read you can apply to your own school operations.
1) Make the next step obvious

Learners should always know where they are, what to do next, and why it matters. We label actions plainly and keep page layouts consistent.

2) Teach with structure

Good pedagogy is repeatable: objectives → lesson → practice → feedback. Our templates nudge you toward that loop without forcing a single style.

3) Respect attention

We avoid clutter and dark patterns. When something is important, we emphasize it once—then let the interface get out of the way.

Why these values?
A quick lens to test decisions when time is tight.

Most school-building decisions fall into tradeoffs: speed vs. quality, simplicity vs. flexibility, growth vs. sustainability. These four values act like guardrails. Reordering them doesn’t change what’s “right”—it clarifies what you’ll protect first when reality gets messy.
